明高温泉位於台中中部横贯公路、海拔八百公尺、大甲溪沿岸的谷关温泉风景区内。自西元1907年发现温泉後，即成为日治时代最早期所开发的温泉疗养所。
全馆均提供谷关无色无味之优质碳酸原汤，并取用八仙山之山冷泉供莅临贵宾沐浴及饮水使用。
会馆位於谷关最佳之地理位置，几步之遥就可以到达丰原客运谷关总站、谷关温泉文化馆、梢来步道及八仙山森林游乐区。

贵宾可从国道1号或3号接国道4号往丰原东势方向走到底左转往东势，循台10甲线接台8线往谷关、梨山方向 (中部横贯公路起点) ，距离高速公路约 49 公里 ，行车时间约 50-60 分钟。明高温泉位於中部横贯公路起点牌楼前方约300公尺处，备有大型停车场供贵宾停泊爱车。
