明高溫泉位於台中中部橫貫公路、海拔八百公尺、大甲溪沿岸的谷關溫泉風景區內。自西元1907年發現溫泉後，即成為日治時代最早期所開發的溫泉療養所。
全館均提供谷關無色無味之優質碳酸原湯，並取用八仙山之山冷泉供蒞臨貴賓沐浴及飲水使用。
會館位於谷關最佳之地理位置，幾步之遙就可以到達豐原客運谷關總站、谷關溫泉文化館、梢來步道及八仙山森林遊樂區。

貴賓可從國道1號或3號接國道4號往豐原東勢方向走到底左轉往東勢，循台10甲線接台8線往谷關、梨山方向 (中部橫貫公路起點) ，距離高速公路約 49 公里 ，行車時間約 50-60 分鐘。明高溫泉位於中部橫貫公路起點牌樓前方約300公尺處，備有大型停車場供貴賓停泊愛車。
